April 10, 2026 - April 12, 2026 - VW’s at the Drive In
Gatesville, Texas
VW’s at the Drive In returns bigger and better for 2026. The wheels
are in motion in the background for this event and we have some pretty
cool stuff lined up. We are not a VW show. We don't have awards or anything
like that. We just like to gather with friends, camp, watch a movie, and
buy/sell some VW parts. So what could we add to make the Saturday more
interesting? We have 3 events
1. Elliot Whitten will be hosting a VW session. Elliott is a very well
versed VW mechanic and will be sharing some of that knowledge with us.
2. Roger Moore will be presenting a VW session. When it comes to VW trivia
and knowledge, there are few that know as much as Roger. Come learn from
a guru.
3. Gary Alexander will be hosting VW life live for an hour or so. You
can come by and ask questions, listen in, and have video proof to watch

The Golden Gate Chapter of the Vintage Volkswagen Club of America will be hosting their 41st Annual Spring Meet at History San Jose at Kelley Park in San Jose on Sunday, April 19 from 8 am to 3 pm. All air-cooled VW's are welcome. All cars entering the park MUST register for the car show and MUST park in their respective class. There will be NO preregistration for either the car show or swap. You will queue up in the bottom parking lot and pay at the gate and register your car at the club booth after you park your car inside the park. With show car attendance peaking at over 300, the GermainAire Car Show & Social is one of the largest VW shows in Canada. Located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Firemens Park offers plenty of shade, a playground, hiking trails and more. it makes for a great day or weekend for the whole family. And guess what? SPECTATORS ARE FREE! Saturday will see the traditional cruise around the scenic Niagara Falls area. After the cruise, participants can relax at the host hotel or the campground and make some new VW friends while getting reacquainted with old ones. Sunday is the show and swap meet.
